BC, UBC Celebrate 100TH Anniversary of University Act

Premier Gordon Campbell and UBC president Stephen Toope celebrated the centenary of the 1908 University Act that created UBC as B.C.’s first post-secondary institution today, signing a rededication of the act exactly 100 years after its original March 7, 1908 signing.
